Kat Snyder began teaching in 1985 after graduating from the University of South Carolina.  She has served in the educational field for over 35 years, 30 years as a public school teacher and five years as a lower school principal at a local Christian school.  In Covenant’s inagural school year, she served as our Educational Consultant—teaching, leading chapel, choosing curriculum, training and supporting teachers, supporting parents and more. In addition to her role at Covenant, Kat enjoys serving in the Children’s Ministry at First Presbyterian Church.  Kat and her husband, Scott, have two daughters and four grandchildren (and counting). Although she feels she is late to enter the Classical Christian world of education, she is devoted to joining its centuries old mission to “seek first Christ’s Kingdom.”  She is excited to lead Covenant Christian Academy next year as our Director.
